Officially proclaimed in 1693, Saxenburg is one of the oldest farms in South Africa. The terroir at Saxenburg is perfectly suited to Shiraz and it is thanks to this varietal that Saxenburg has become a prominent South African export. Thanks to Saxenburg’s belief that exceptional wines are made on the vine, we practise a well-managed system of summer pruning to keep yields low. With fewer bunches left, grapes mature into a finer quality and less craft is required in the cellar. We aim for purity and balance and strive to make wines that are as thought-provoking to taste, as they are pleasurable to consume.

Harvest 2025
Join us on the journey of Harvest 2025, by producing your very own company/personal barrel of wine, under the guidance of our production team.
Experience the entire process, from vineyard to the bottle. This offering is subject to Mother Nature exclusively available from +/- Mid-February to end of March 2025. Price is subject to cultivar & quantity wanting to be produced. We mould this offering according to your budget & availability.
By the end of 2025 – you will have your very own wine, bottled & labelled with your own design. Perfect to have your own wine for your year-end function or our further gifting options. This offer includes Wine Club Memberships for the whole team!
