Beautifully concentrated fruit on the nose – expect ripe cherries, blackberries and a tightly packed palate. This wine has a real balance to it, and the finish is long and seamless. One would be forgiven to mistake this for a beautifully matured Pinot noir! Be patient and allow this wine to open up before serving.

| Vinification Details: | Harvested at physiological ripeness, then destemmed and fermented in open-top tanks. Thorough temperature control and 3 punch downs and pump-overs daily ensured a soft extraction. Pressed of the skins early, to prevent bitterness. Oak maturation: A combination of 2nd and 3rd fill, 300L, French oak barrels. 12 months with no racking or fining. |
