The Private Collection Chardonnay 2019 shows lemon, cut green apples, fresh bread, nuts and a hint of beeswax on the nose. The palate is long and lingering, with refreshing acidity.
It will complement most fish dishes or can be enjoyed with lighter meat dishes and creamy pasta.
Due to difficult conditions during the start of the 2019 vintage, it delivered a much smaller crop of Chardonnay. However, this smaller crop was healthy and intensely concentrated. This wine is 100% French oak fermented, but we make use of only a small percentage of new oak, thus ensuring that the oak is beautifully integrated and adds more to the palate weight, than the aroma of the wine.
