It will complement most fish dishes or can be enjoyed with lighter meat dishes and creamy pasta.

Winemaker’s Comments

The 2018 vintage came at the end of the infamous 3-year drought in the Winelands. Therefore the berries were smaller and the crop lower, but fortunately, we had enough irrigation water to ensure the vines did not enter severe water-stress. To ensure freshness, the grapes were picked slightly earlier and this is apparent in the beautiful elegance of this wine. The small percentage of new oak used adds lovely texture and complexity but does not overpower the fruit at all.
